Apply a small amount in palm of hand and massage over face and neck. Wet fingers and massage over face and rinse thoroughly with water. Repeat if wearing heavy make-up.

I am very satisfied with this cleanser. I decided to try the Source Vital brand after they were mentioned by a doctor in an article for the Endometriosis Foundation of America. They were writing about the importance of using personal care products that would not add further exacerbate the disease. With their recommendation, I decided to switch some of my skincare products over and started with the lemon gel cleanser as it is the cleanser Source Vital formulated for acne-prone skin, which I have. I checked it for any potentially pore clogging ingredients (one can find these ingredients listed on the websites of Face Reality, ClearStem and the like) and determined this is an acne-safe product. With that satisfied, I dove in and bought the largest size for value. This came in a pump bottle, which is a convenience I have greatly enjoyed. The price was much lower than the cleanser I have been using for years, too, which was a pleasant surprise. The scent of the cleanser is also refreshing. Two small things that I like less than my previous cleanser are 1) I can't wash off my eye makeup with it (my previous cleanser was so gentle I could use it for this secondary purpose) and 2) it stains light-colored wash cloths (I can get this out with a stain remover or...just not care), so I try to only use it with my dark wash cloths. Overall, I plan to keep this as my primary cleanser. I am very happy with it.
