Product Operations & Compliance Manager

Source Vitál Apothecary is a Houston based manufacturer of natural skin care, body care, aromatherapy, and wellness products. Since 1989, we have produced high quality products for retail, wholesale, and private label customers while maintaining a commitment to craftsmanship, quality ingredients, and operational excellence.

We are seeking a Product Operations & Compliance Manager to help coordinate the systems, documentation, processes, and communication that keep our manufacturing organization running smoothly.

This role sits at the intersection of product development, manufacturing, inventory, compliance, purchasing, and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate enjoys creating structure, improving processes, organizing information, and helping teams work together effectively.

What You’ll Do

  • Product Operations & Documentation: Maintain product records, operational documentation, SOPs, and process workflows that support manufacturing and inventory operations.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Coordination: Support documentation and processes related to MoCRA, GMP, labeling, and product compliance.
  • Inventory & Systems Management: Help maintain inventory processes, product databases, ingredient records, and operational systems that support accurate production and planning.
  • Project & Launch Coordination: Coordinate operational aspects of new product launches, packaging updates, special projects, and large customer orders.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the owners, Batchmaker, Purchasing Manager, warehouse team, Product Lead/Formulator(s), and sales team to keep projects moving and information flowing.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience managing documentation, projects, or operational processes
  • Strong communication and follow through
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Experience working with inventory, ERP, manufacturing, or operational software systems
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple departments

Bonus Points For

  • Experience in cosmetics, personal care, wellness, supplements, food manufacturing, or other regulated industries
  • Familiarity with GMP or compliance environments
  • Experience supporting product launches and packaging changes

Inside Sales Associate

Source Vital is currently looking for an Inside Sales Associate to play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious sales growth numbers. You must be comfortable having one-on-one consultations (via phone, in person, and via email) with current and potential new customers, properly advise on product protocols and regiments, and make recommendations based on product catalog knowledge.

What You’ll Do

  • Handle inbound inquiries from current and potentially new customers via phone and email
  • Perform outreach to current client base to notify of new promotions, products, and offerings
  • Input and process customer orders and manage internal sales process from order to delivery to customer
  • Properly process customer order payments
  • Understand customer needs and make proper recommendations based on product knowledge
  • Research accounts and make proposals to current client base to further their offerings and product usage
  • Build and maintain company’s monthly promotional calendar
  • Consult in-person with customers who come into our Beauty Market (showroom)
  • Attend and participate in the company’s marketing team meeting
  • Help develop new ways of driving sales
  • Work with Business Development on “hand-offs” of account creation, product recommendations, client start up, and initial orders
  • Assist marketing team with the creation of new marketing material
  • Track daily, monthly, and annual sales performance
  • Work with production team to manage inventory process for our Beauty Market

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Persuasive and goal-oriented

  • Strong phone presence
  • Ability to troubleshoot, “think on your feet”, and find solutions to problems

    Warehouse & Production Associate

    The Warehouse Operations Associate position is an opportunity to work in a face paced environment. The role of the position is to assist in several areas of Source Vital's supply chain. Attention to detail is one of the most important qualities required of the position. Teamwork and high energy is required. This role is perfect for college students looking to learn more about supply chain processes, warehouse and business operations and end-to-end product production. Open to flexible hours. Full -time and part-time opportunities available.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Operation, assembly and cleaning of product filling equipment
    • Monitor product and packaging component inventory
    • Operation of automatic labeling equipment
    • Perform Quality Assurance checks during all phases of product assembly and packaging
    • Perform order fulfillment and verification
    • Maintain cleanliness of filling rooms, equipment & production utensils
    • Assist in label production and labeling product
    • Pulling customer orders
    • Assist shipping department with order assembly and boxing

    REQUIRED SKILLS and EXPERIENCE

    • Basic mechanical knowledge
    • Ability to follow established manufacturing, production, safety and supply chain processes
    • Working knowledge of basic computer programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
    • Ability to work in a high paced atmosphere
    • Detail oriented attitude

    PREFERRED SKILLS

    • Able to lift up to 55lbs

    PAY

    • $12-$15/hour depending on experience
