TerraCycle

TerraCycle is a company that develops innovative ways to collect and recycle hard-to-recycle items by partnering with brands and stakeholders who fund the process. Their Zero Waste Box makes recycling easy - select the box, fill it with recyclable items, and ship it back. We've purchased two types of Zero Waste Boxes for our warehouse. One is for our safety gear and PPE. The second type is for empty beauty packaging. This is the one we urge you to participate in. We take all beauty products, not just Source Vitál.

CleanHub

CleanHub operates a worldwide network of collection hubs that intercept plastic before it reaches the ocean and safely process non-recyclable plastic. CleanHub helps to empower brands to minimize their plastic footprint. We're committed to becoming plastic-neutral each year, meaning we facilitate the removal of a pound of plastic pollution for every pound of plastic we use through CleanHub.

Our funding supports the collection and recovery of plastic waste, and CleanHub allows us to monitor our impact report and share it with you in real time. We’re proud to have facilitated the collection of over 600 pounds of plastic in 2022, which is equivalent to nearly 30,000 plastic bottles!

Moonshot Composting

Composting is an ancient practice used in agriculture. It involves the consumption of organic material by soil microbes when the right balance of moisture, air, and heat is present. This process turns the organic material into stable soil carbon while maintaining the water and nutrients from the original material.

Source Vitál participates in Moonshot Composting, which involves diverting surplus food and organic matter away from landfills. This practice has a number of benefits, including decreasing methane emissions, restoring nutrients to the soil, increasing food yields, and reducing excess carbon in the atmosphere.

One Tree Planted

One Tree Planted planted over 10 million trees last year and has committed to planting 20 million this year. This is an ambitious goal that you can contribute to simply by purchasing your preferred products for the body, skin, mind, and spirit.

From April 21 to 23, we will donate one tree through One Tree Planted for every order placed, and you will receive a 22% discount on our entire SVA product line!
