Uses of Sage Spanish Essential Oil

Sage is a good addition to your home cleansing blend for cleaning counter tops, bathrooms, etc.
Need to study for a test or work deadline, put a few drops of Sage Spanish in your electric or water diffusor while you work.
Head throbbing, put a drop of Sage Spanish and a carrier oil on your fingertips and gently massage temples and back of neck.

Active on the physical plane and as an euphoric on the cerebral plane. Between 3rd and 4th chakra. Good for the mind-mental clarity, improves concentration and memory. Uplifts and energizes the spirit.

Physical Description

Pale yellow color witha thin, watery consistency.

Aromatic Description

Fresh herbaceous, camphoraceous, slightly pine-like aroma.

Biological Makeup and Components

Camphor (up to 34%), cineol (up to 35%), limonene (up to 41%), camphene (up to 20%), pinene (up to 20%). Lower thujone content than other sages

Extraction Technique

Steam distillation from leaves.

Information for Aromatherapists

Sage Spanish essential oil is a middle to top note depending on growing conditions, genus, etc. Blends well with Rosemary, Lavandin, Lavender, Pine, Citronella, Eucalyptus, Juniper, Clary Sage and Cedarwood. Use sparingly, two drops per 50 drops.
