We have developed an easy 3-step process to create your Custom Facial Cocktail. However, some still want a little help. Below is a primer of the ingredients you can choose to add to your cocktail. and we’ve provided some of our favorite combinations.

CAUTION: Essential oils are active on the skin. If you are not used to using essential oils in your skin care, start with milder blends, such as Soothing Infusion and work up to more active formulas, such as Toning Infusion. If you are using Retinol or other aggressive skin treatments avoid using Toning Infusion.

Face Oil Infusions

Acne & Blemish – Only recommended to be used in cocktails for complexions with full-face acne flareups. This blend is too strong for most skin type. Remember, if you have an occasional pimple, you do not have acne.

Fortifying – Great for redness and dull-looking skin. This is an active formula, which will stimulate the skin. Over time it will help to strengthen skin, the same ways going to the gym helps to build muscle. Start small and build up.

Hydrating – Great for all skin types. Encourages the skin to retain moisture without looking greasy.

Oil Control – Well suited for those with combination to oilier skin types. This formula promotes harmony on the skin for a balanced look and feel. It is not drying to the skin.

Restorative – Smells delicious! Gives the skin a plumped, youthful look. The perfect addition if you are concerned with aging skin. For normal to combination skin types, this is a great infusion to use at night.

Soothing – Formulated for skin prone to a bit of redness and in need of hydration. Recommended for people with sensitive skin.

Toning – Our most active formula. Perfect for the person who really likes to feel it working. This infusion improves the appearance of skin lacking firmness and encourages a smoother even look to the skin tone.

Abyssinian –  Offers effective hydration and loved for the velvety-soft feel on the skin. Good for use on most skin types

Apricot Kernel – Very calming for sensitive-prone skin

Argan Oil – Protects and moisturizes normal to sensitive skin. Congested skin types should avoid.

Rosehip Oil –  This algae-derived oil protects skin from the signs of aging and hydrates the skin.

Copaiba Balsam –  Great addition if you suffer from inflammation or want to improve the appearance of scarring.

There are three formulas for each skin type. Think about the way your bare skin feels an hour or two after cleansing, this should be a good way to determine your skin type.

Don’t worry about getting your skin type exactly right. Because of the nature of these ingredients, there really is no wrong way to make your serum!

How to Use the Customized Facial Cocktail

The whole idea is to keep it simple, but this serum can be implemented into any regimen, even the protocols of the most high-maintenance beauty mavens.

Simple Skin Care Routine
Step 1 – Cleanse
Wash your face with whatever formula is best for your skin type.

Step 2 – Customized Facial Cocktail
Remember to thoroughly shake the cocktail to incorporate all the ingredients. Add 4-10 drops in your palm and massage into the skin, avoiding your eyes.

*Normal to oily skin types may be done! If you feel like you need a bit more hydration move on to step 3.

Step 3 – Hydrate or Sunscreen
Add a layer of moisturizer if you have normal-to-dry skin or feel like you need a bit more hydration. Don’t forget your daily dose of sunscreen!

Advanced Skin Care Routine
Step 1 – Cleanse
Wash your face with whatever formula is best for your skin type.

1-3 times a week, depending on your skin type, add gentle exfoliation into your program. Then use your favorite mask, depending on your complexion needs.

Step 2 – Customized Facial Cocktail
Add 4-10 drops in your palm and massage into the skin, avoiding your eyes.

Step 3 – Correctives
If you use corrective products to battle skin issues like dark spots, wrinkles or breakouts, use these on top of your facial cocktail.

Step 5 – Eye care
Tap on an eye cream around the orbital one of the eye. For dark circles and puffy eyes, focus on the inner corners and under eye area. For crow’s feet pat eye cream on the outter corners.

Step 6 – Hydrate
Add a layer of moisturizer if you have normal-to-dry skin or feel like you need a bit more hydration. Again, for the daytime, apply sunscreen to protect the skin from UV damage.
