Allopathic uses: Analgesic,

Indications: Cardiac fatigue,

and pain, colds, coughs, bronchitis, dyspepsia, flatulence,
abdominal distention, hair loss.
Holistic uses: In Chinese
medicine, warm/dry action, fire element, excellent yang
tonic, promotes circulation of Qi and blood, energizes Heart
Qi. Psychologically, promotes self-worth and strong, healthy
ego, boosts confidence and morale, warms Spirit. As the herb

Contraindications: Non-toxic,
non-irritant in dilution only, pregnancy, breast feeding,
children under 2 years, epilepsy, fever.
Blending: Top note. Blends well with olibanum,
lavender, lavandin, citronella, oregano, thyme, pine, basil,
peppermint, labdanum, elemi, cedarwood, petitgrain,
cinnamon, other spice oils.
Chemical Components: Pinenes,
camphene, limonene, cineol (40%), borneal with camphor
(10%), linalol, terpineol, octanone, bornyl acetate.
Characteristics: Colorless to
pale yellow color. Strong, fresh, minty-camphoraceous,
balsamic, slightly woody.
Extraction: Steam distillation
of fresh flowering tops or whole plant.
