Holistic uses:
In Chinese Medicine,
cool/moist action, water and earth element, yin energy,
clears heat and inflammation with cool and moist energy,
strengthens Qi energy, encourages circulation of Qi and
blood, reinforces Qi energy of the Spleen and pancreas
meridians and yin tonic. Beneficial for chronic and acute
anxiety, especially when related to nervous exhaustion and
overwork. Affects ability to receive and experience as well
as give and express. Effective in traveling through the
central opening, the survival level to the conscious level.
Will affect energy moving in all directions. Third chakra.
Contraindications:
Non-toxic, non-irritant.
Since a high quality product is very expensive, there is a
danger of adulteration with this oil. Check your sources
carefully.
Blending:
Middle note. Blends well
with rose, juniper, rosemary, bergamot, lavender, cinnamon,
citrus, basil, almost any oil. Gives soft floral note to
blends. Good fixative.

75-80% alcohols (terpenic geraniol,
citronellol, linalol and terpineol),
esters (acetic, butyric, valerianic),
ketones, phenols (eugenol), and
terpenes (phellandrene, pinene).

Characteristics:
Strong, sweet, fresh, green,
slightly citrus, spicy, floral, rose-like, can imitate
almost any fragrance, pleasant when diluted. Greenish-yellow
color.
Extraction: Steam distillation of plant.
