Immortelle has a yellowish color with a strong, aromatic, turpentine-like aroma. The oil is extracted by steam distillation from the fresh flowers and flowering tops. Immortelle has antiphlogistic, anti-viral, antispasmodic, analgesic, expectorant, anticoagulant, and anti-inflammatory properties. It also stimulates new cell formation. Immortelle can be used to treat: wounds, cuts, bruises, burns, hypertension, scars, rashes, liver fatigue, phlebitis, coronary complaints, and bronchial congestion.
