Rosemary is colorless to pale yellow in color. Rosemary has a strong, fresh, minty-camphoraceous, balsamic, and slightly woody aroma. The oil is extracted by steam distillation of fresh flowering tops, or whole plants. Rosemary has analgesic, antibacterial, anticatarrhal, antirheumatic, and general tonic properties.
