SOURCE VITÁL essential oils contain all the elements of the plant just as nature created them. Therefore, they have a great therapeutic benefit due to all the components working in a synergistic manner. While only a dozen or so chemical components may be responsible for the smell of an essential oil, essential oils contain literally hundreds of components that bestow upon it its unique therapeutic properties. Many of these components are present in such minute amounts that it is impossible to isolate and identify them, yet in many instances it may be these unidentified parts that make the essential oil so effective.
